Service Terms

Version 2026-10-16. Draft pending attorney review. These terms apply to every Curated Monday design project. You accept them at checkout, before you pay.

1. Who we are and what this covers

Curated Monday LLC (“we”, “us”) is a virtual interior design studio in Chicago, Illinois. When you buy a design package (“you” are the person who pays), these Service Terms are our agreement. They sit alongside our Site Terms and Privacy Policy. If anything on our website or in an email conflicts with these Service Terms, these Service Terms win.

2. What you’re buying

You’re buying one of our three packages: The Refresh, The Full Room, or The Renovation. What each one includes is what the Services page lists on the day you buy. Anything not listed there is not included. If you want more, ask and we’ll tell you whether we can do it and what it would cost.

Our work is virtual and digital. We don’t visit your home, we don’t sell or ship furniture, and we don’t manage orders, deliveries, installation or contractors. Your finished work comes as a digital Design Book, delivered through your Curated Monday client portal or by email.

3. Price and payment

You pay the full package price at checkout, through Stripe. We never see or store your card details. The price shown at checkout is the price of the package, plus any taxes shown there. Prices on our site are starting prices. If your room is much larger or more complex than the package is built for, we’ll tell you before we begin and agree an adjusted price with you. If you’d rather not, you can have a full refund.

Furniture, paint and other products you choose to buy from retailers are separate purchases. They are not part of what you pay us.

4. What we need from you

Good design depends on accurate information. You agree to give us true and reasonably complete answers, photos, measurements and details about your space, to answer our questions in a timely way, and to tell us if something changes. We rely on what you send us. We aren’t responsible for problems that come from measurements, photos or details that were wrong or incomplete.

You also confirm that you own the home you’re asking us to design, or that you have permission from whoever does to make changes to it.

5. Timing and communication

Once you’ve completed your questionnaire and photos, we’ll give you an estimated delivery date. Dates are estimates, and they move if you’re slow to send information or feedback. We talk through your portal and email, and we aim to reply within two business days.

If we haven’t heard from you for 30 days when we need something from you, we may close your project. A closed project isn’t refundable, but you can ask us to reopen it.

6. Revisions

Your package includes the revisions it lists. A revision is one round of changes to the design we’ve shown you, based on your feedback, sent to us together in one message. Changing the room, the budget or the overall direction after we’ve designed it, or sending feedback in pieces over time, isn’t one revision. We’ll tell you what it would cost. Extra revisions are available for an extra fee, quoted before we start.

7. Implementation support

The Full Room and The Renovation include 14 days of implementation support, starting on the day we deliver your Design Book. It covers your questions about following the plan, by message through your portal. It doesn’t include finding replacements for sold-out items, resolving problems with retailers or contractors, or new design work.

8. Cancellations and refunds

If you ask for a refund before we’ve begun your design, you get a full refund. We begin your design once your questionnaire and photos are complete and we’ve started work on your project. Email hello@curatedmonday.com to ask, and we’ll send the refund to your original payment method, normally within 10 business days.

Once we’ve begun, your payment covers our time and work, and it isn’t refundable. That includes once we have delivered your Design Book. If we can’t finish your project for a reason on our side, we’ll refund the part of your payment for work we didn’t do. If you think we’ve got something wrong, tell us and we will work it out with you.

We may end a project and refund the unused portion if you are abusive to us or break these terms.

9. Products, retailers and links

We recommend products from many retailers. We don’t sell, stock or ship them. Price, availability, color, finish, delivery, returns and warranties are the retailer’s responsibility, and they change without notice. Before you buy anything, check the dimensions, the price and the stock, and make sure it fits your space and your delivery route. We can’t be responsible for a purchase you make.

Some of the links we give you may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. We’ll mark them so you can tell. You never have to buy through our links.

10. Renderings and visuals

Floor plans, boards, renderings and visualizations show our design intent. We may use software and AI-assisted tools to help produce them. They are illustrations, not photographs of your finished room. Real products look different in your light, your room and your hands: color, texture, scale and finish can all vary from what you see on screen.

11. What our work is, and isn’t

Our work is decorating and design guidance, and it’s a matter of taste. We can’t promise that you will love the result, that it will suit your plans, or that it will add value to your home.

We are not architects, engineers, contractors, or code inspectors, and our work is not architectural, engineering, structural, electrical, plumbing, or construction advice. Floor plans and elevations are visual guides, not construction documents. For The Renovation, we design the look, layout, materials and finishes, and you and your contractor are responsible for verifying measurements, technical details, installation, permits, building codes, safety and feasibility before any work starts.

12. Who owns what

You own the photos and information you give us. You let us use them to do your project, and to keep records of it.

We own the Design Book and everything we create for you (the “work”). Once you’ve paid, you may use the work for your own home and share it with the contractors, retailers and friends who help you carry it out. You may not sell it, publish it as your own, or use it for a business.

We may show the work, including images we created, in our portfolio and marketing. We won’t use your name or address. We won’t show photos of your home as they were before the design without asking you. If you don’t want us to use your project, email us, before or after we deliver, and we will stop using it from then on.

13. Your information

How we handle your photos and details is set out in our Privacy Policy.

14. Limits on our responsibility

We do our work with care, but we provide it “as is”, without promises about particular results. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as the cost of furniture you bought that doesn’t fit, lost time, or lost income. Our total liability to you for anything connected with your project is limited to the amount you paid us for it.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud, or for death or injury caused by negligence. Some states don’t allow certain limits, so some of this may not apply to you.

15. Disagreements and governing law

If something goes wrong, please email us first at hello@curatedmonday.com. We’d like to fix it, and most problems can be sorted out that way. If we can’t agree within 30 days, either of us may take the dispute to court. These terms are governed by Illinois law, and the state and federal courts that sit in Cook County, Illinois, may hear any dispute that comes up.

16. Changes and the rest

We may update these Service Terms. The version you accepted at checkout governs your project, and we record which version that was. These Service Terms, our Site Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about your project. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. You may not transfer your project to someone else without our agreement. Neither of us is responsible for a delay caused by something outside our reasonable control.
